I bought a Droid 2 a while back and loved everything but one thing. The keyboard keeps freezing in my routine. This only happened when I probably used punctuation. I’ve tried draining my battery, using various texting apps, and even doing a factory reset. The reset seemed to work until I finally got my new phone, currently Gnexus. Now some friends and also my mom have the same problems with Droid2. Does anyone know anything about this? Or what can be done to fix the app without factory reset? If it helps, the text messaging app I used was handcent.

    2. Do you usually use the keyboard that came with your mobile device or the keyboard you downloaded from the Play Store? Have you tried going to Settings > Apps > Google Keyboard (or whatever keyboard app you intend to use) and clear cache and data?

Why is my keyboard not appearing?

2 answers. Most likely, the purchased keyboard application is damaged. Try clearing important app information and force close keyboard apps like HTC Keyboard, Google Keyboard, GBoard. Here’s how I got it to work for an HTC phone in the future.

I just got my new Droid Turbo 2 and almost immediately I started having issues with mobile devices freezing at random times/apps. I started fixing the issue and I’m really happy with the forced restart several times a day, but now I have another problem with the guitar completely useless, be it recording, sending emails, typing in the browser, etc. I tried to wipe the cache partition, and still no change. I’m ready to throw my phone away, but open to ideas on how to do it?
